My name is Matthew Pici and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2018.  I love to help others. It has been my purpose for my entire adult life. Before I dedicated my life to counseling, I worked as a school counselor, principal, campus minister, art teacher, and religion teacher. That part of my life taught me many lessons which help me as a therapist today.  

I enjoy offering a counseling approach that incorporates the Catholic faith and prayer to those who desire it into the counseling relationship while focusing on each person's strengths.  In counseling, I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, and issues affecting men. I primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, while including elements of other therapeutic approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. 

I know it can feel like a big step to call a counselor, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how or if I can help. If I am not the right person, I’ll do my best to get you to the right person.
